Besides its research activities, the Earth Sciences Department also has the obligation to provide services to the Public. Any interested professional can thus consult its library and map-collection that cover mainly titles about central Africa.

Its geological and mineral exploration archives are regularly consulted (under strict conditions) by a variety of companies and are used by actors of that industry as basis for geological and exploration work.
