OPENING HOURS :

The Department of Documentation is open to the public from 8:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday. It is closed on Public Holidays and occasionally at other times as directed by The Board.

VISITORS TO THE LIBRARY

Non-members can use the CRGM Library for reference services only and will be issued with a Visitor's Ticket. Tickets can be purchased for a short period or a 3-monthly, use at the following charges :

• For students.
  A 3-month subscription is required. The charge is U.S. $ 6.
  It is prohibited to bring books out of the library
   
• For non-member researchers.
  A 3-month subscription is required. The charge is U.S. $ 10.
  It is also prohibited to bring books out of the library.
  For short periods of less than three months, a lump sum of U.S. $ 5 is charged.
   
• For Researchers, members of Scientific Research institutes under the supervision of Scientific Research Ministry, it is free of charge.
  A deposit of U.S. $ 20 is compulsory for any loan.
   

NOTES.
Any reproduction of library materials (Print out) is subject to the approval of the Head of Department or his representative.
Documents loaned by researchers, members of the centre and public institutions (Scientific Research Ministry) must be submitted within a period not exceeding six days.

CONDITIONS OF ACCESS TO THE DOCUMENTATION DEPARTMENT.

The CRGM has three types of geological and mining documents: archives dating from the 20th century, maps dating mainly from the 20th century, the late 90's and early 21st century, as well as more recent literature.

Any person seeking information is asked to submit his application either to the Department or to the Scientific Direction and to the General Directorate.

The Library materials being a proprietary of CRGM, are available to the public but only under certain required conditions.

• LITERATURE SEARCHES
  Search fees
        For fellows: U.S. $ 50 per day
        For expatriates or fellows working for a foreign company: U.S. $ 100 per day.
  Searching for literature or consultation (search for folders or maps ad hoc audits of databases ...) will be under the expert supervision of the Department, with the customer if he/she wants.
  
  
• Development of a geological report and / or mining
  Thanks to the request of a researcher/student, CRGM can write a geological report and / or mining.
  This report will include the relevant literature encountered during the consultation and all maps attached will be considered important in electronic or on paper copy.
   

WARNING.

You should know that the report prepared by CRGM takes into account only the documentation that it possesses and that it may be exceeded. Indeed, since this documentation has been written, further work in the field or in the laboratory may have occurred and have not necessarily been brought to the attention of CRGM. The CRGM does not assume any liability that may arise from the use of this report.

FEES.

For National: $ 100 per day (*)
For expatriates or nationals working for a foreign company: $ 200 per day.

70% of fees are payable to the order, the remaining at the submission of the report.

(*) The number of days required is determined by the experts of the department based on the work required and the volume of documentation to be consulted.

Before handing in the assignment to the purchaser, the chair or the scientific direction endorses the report.

NB. Copies of the maps will be provided in electronic form or on paper form.
